14-18 Education at Hebden Green and Potential Destinations Post 18

At Hebden Green we offer a provision up to 18 years old (Year 13).  The curriculum in school is highly personalised and structured through our Pathway Approach.  Please look at the Curriculum PowerPoint and the Pathways PowerPoints under the Our Curriculum section on our website.

During your time in school, we work closely with families to support them and our young people to choose the best destination for life after Hebden Green.  The curriculum is structured to allow pupils to gain all the skills that they need to make this move.  As a school, we will support you at every step, with the annual reviews being the main way to formalise these next step plans. 

Some Post 16 pupils may choose (along with their parents/carers) to begin their transition early.  This will be due to readiness for college and this happens through a robust annual review and ongoing joint working.  0% of pupils leave without clear next steps and destinations.
