Assessment is ongoing and formative at every stage at Hebden Green School. It is used to track our pupils progress and also help us to identify next steps. We use different methods to assess and monitor progress to ensure that our pupils are challenged and that every point of success can be highlighted and celebrated. Our assessments supports our pupils' development into life long learners and adults who are prepared to engage with the wider world.
We ensure that progress is monitored, evaluated and accelerated through within term, termly, yearly and long term tracking of all available data to get a complete picture of the exciting journeys our pupils make towards adulthood.

In 2013-2014 Rate of Progress was 82% good or outstanding
In 2014-2015 Rate of Progress was 78% good or outstanding
In 2015-2016 Rate of Progressed increased to 82% good or outstanding
In 2016-2017 Rate of Progress increased to 87% good or outstanding
In 2017-2018 Rate of Progress increased to 88% good or outstanding.
